The Long Defeat
is the 2026 release from London’s DIY indie rock band Feeble Strength, following on from 2025’s first EP Various Martyrs. Taking its title from a Tolkien quote, it is a record about losing battles against romantic, political, economic and physical defeat.

It is about finding the eucastrophe in life in moments that look like destruciton.

It also rocks.
